Hanging Hallway Classroom Sign {Monday Made It}

I think Monday Made It is my favorite day to blog!

I am super big on crafting things for my classroom and love sharing it with you!!

This week I made a hanging hallways classroom sign....At my school, each grade level is down a long hallway. The teachers have signs with their names hanging outside their door facing down the hallway so it is easy to see who's room is where!

I redid mine for this year... just because....no real rhyme or reason.. but who needs a reason to redo something???

Here is my new hallway sign!
The only thing I don't like is how LONG my stinkin' name is! My maiden name was Robb...so I went from a short name to a long name.. I think I made it work though....

I also created more numbered clips for my students. These will either be for my behavior clip chart OR my class jobs chart... I'm thinking I may use Velcro dots for my class jobs....We will see!

Here are the clothespins that I covered in scrapbook paper and then added the numbers to.

I think I"m a clothespin snob now... I can't look at a regular plain clothespin without cringing... I HAVE to cover it... and I think that is only because it is SO quick and easy!! I have a post on it from a while back. Click here to see the post on how easy it is to cover clothespins! Seriously, it only takes about 10 mins to cover a large batch!

Anywho..here are my newest clothespins..
{sorry about the bad lighting...I'm no photographer!}

 {haha...can you tell how much I love chevron?? You can see in the background on the photo below that the rotunda in my house is painted chevron!}

Have a fabulous week! This is my last week of summer school.. woohoo! Then I have a week left of NOTHING to do before we start trainings...I'm ready for ONE last week of sweet summertime!

Monday Made It!!

Today's Monday Made It includes 3 different things!

Monday Made It #1

My Superb Work showcase!
I decided to turn a little section of my wall into my Superb Work area. I came up with this cute little design to hang work on!
{sorry for the shotty photography on this one}

I laminated the cards so that I could write the student names with a dry erase marker!

I glued them to clothespins first to easily hang the work!

Keep reading for some good news! :)

Monday Made it #2

My Welcome Sign
for right outside my classroom!

Last, but not least...

Monday Made It #3

My Behavior Clip Chart!

There are so many cute ones on TPT, but I wanted to create my own chevron one. Mine from last year is too long... My classes switch rooms so It is hard for them to carry. I had to alter it a bit to get it to be just the right size!

SO, those of you who have made it to the end.... If you'd like these for FREE...head on over to my Facebook page! :)
You can find them under my fan freebie tab at the top of my Facebook Page....

My classroom is coming along so well! I was going to take pictures of my walls and BB's today but forgot my phone at home! SO, tomorrow you will get a little sneak peak! :)

Have a great evening y'all!

Monday Made it and Another Freebie!!

It's a rainy Monday..but that can't keep me from smiling!

Today was my first day of teaching summer school. It went well.. had 8 students in my first class then 2 in my second class..It's much nicer when there's only a few kids!
I got home this afternoon and got straight to work!
I had to get my craft done for Monday Made It!

I literally JUST finished my craft for this week! AND I have yet ANOTHER freebie! I am all full of freebies lately!

My First Monday Made it...

I saw this on Pinterest but can't for the life of me find the original pin. So here is mine.
{Pardon the dark photos...}

It is a doorway ribbon curtain?? haha I have no idea what to call it! That sounds good enough though.

This was very cheap to make. I'm pretty sure I got the adjustable rod from Target. Not expensive at all... AND the ribbon (most of it) is from the dollar store! They seriously had my turquoise and gray! I was so happy! So, I loaded up on that!

So simple. No need for directions.. Can't wait to take it in tomorrow to see how it looks on my classroom door!!

My Second Monday Made It!

Since I teach reading, I wanted to start off this summer session with asking the kids what they liked about reading and/or what they thought they were good at in reading. So, I created a little writing sheet. I used this today with my kiddos and it went well! :) Just got their mind back into thinking about reading.

The directions on the two are slightly different. just depends if you want them to write about what they are good at or what they like about reading... Today I had them write about what they liked.

If you'd like this freebie..Hop on over to my Facebook page and click on my Fab Fan Freebie tab at the top of my page. Remember! You have to like my page to get the freebie! :) There is more than one freebie on the link! ;)

Happy Monday Made it! :) :)
