Wow! Yesterday afternoon I started crafting for my classroom! I ended up multicrafting! I made up that term for doing more than one craft at a time... sooooo original..right? ha...
Anyways. I started with my Where are you board (I guess that's what it's called?)....this is the magnetic board to show where the students are if they leave the classroom. I realized once I started it that I had to wait for my modge podge and paint to dry, so I decided to start my door hanger at the same time...
So, all afternoon I went back and forth between the two crafts and it went GREAT! I'm so proud of myself....
I'm a little bit of a messy crafter so forgive my messiness in the pics.
I also managed to finish printing my custom teacher planner for next year. Thanks to A Modern Teacher! It is finished and ready to be bound together! You definitely know you're a teacher when you are that excited about A PLANNER! It's like I can sit there and just pet the planner and it soothes me....hahaha I'm sure that left some creepy images in your head! I'm not a weirdo, I promise...
Anyways.. Here are some pics of my progress... I'm not completely done with the where are you board or the door hanger...
For the door hanger, I still have to add the ribbon and for the where are you board, I still have to make my numbered magnets and put my ribbon on the board to mark off the sections...
I actually had an extra 10 minutes to create some more bulletin board clothespins! Just this small touch adds ALOT to your room!
AND I made a trip to Hobby Lobby today and found the CUTEST little blackboard and whiteboard easel! I cannot WAIT to decorate this for my room... They actually had 3 different sizes... this one is the smaller size and it's for $3.99. Hmmm... the possibilities are endiess! I'll be sure to keep you updated on that one as well!
I still haven't heard what any of y'all are crafting!!! I know I'm not the only teacher out there crafting already! :) Puhhlease share!
These are super cute! I was "multicrafting" today! I made a sign with my name, a Homework Club board, and my READ letters. I'm feeling pretty accomplished today ;) Next on my to do list is a Where Are You sign just like yours! I love your labels!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Thanks for stopping by! I need to get onto my READ letters! I love having time during the summer!

Wow, you have been busy! It all looks great, I especially love the planner! I haven't gotten started on anything yet. I'm trying to get my house organized, it's pretty messy, it could take awhile! Love the little easels, I may have to go check those out at Hobby Lobby too.

Girl! You are just crossing things off your list! Yay you!! That is awesome. Thanks for the shout-out for the Teacher Planner. So happy you like it. REALLY. I just stare too.... Ha! April
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE your "where are you" board. Is there any way you could create the circle numbers up to 30? We aren't lucky enough to only have 24 students : ( how nice that would be!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! It is edited to 30! Hope yours turns out great!! :) I also fixed the link!
